Knowing Healthy Diet Through Three Main Ideas

When it comes to a healthy diet, there are only three points to remember. These three points would guarantee security from health risks arising from unhealthy eating habits.

The main reason why people accumulated several health complications was due to poor knowledge about a proper pattern of eating. One should only remember the three basic concepts about a healthy diet and these are; Carbohydrates, Proteins and Fats. As far as the digestive system is concern, our health revolves within these three prerequisites.

Carbohydrates would mean "the daily bread in the west" as it is "the yearly koku (stipend) in the far east". Thus on both parts of the world, carbohydrates keep them vigorous. Cereals and rice would be an appropriate example for staple carbohydrates diet in nearly all civilized societies. It is impossible to avoid the natural indulgence of man towards sweet things and thus result to unnatural consequences. The unpleasant consequences could be blamed for the ungodly temptations to chocolates and other tantalizing confections.

On this point, one must not deprive himself or herself with carbohydrates, though the excess of it would commonly cause diabetes and obesity. Carbohydrates are important to keep energy levels on top and fuel a person's drive to burn calories. Thus, this is the importance of carbohydrates to our system.

Proteins often highlight the body's mass, strength and curative nature. Whoever argues over the precedence between chicken and egg could reconcile both differences in the aspect of protein-rich meals. It is not impossible to conceive bad proteins, no more than man could conceive of a devil with the inevitable idea of God.

It is important to remember that proteins are responsible for the condition of the muscles, bones and organs. Thus, many competitive athletes would always include dairy products in their diet to keep the bones suitable for intense physical activity. A body not exposed to so much physical activity needs to curb protein intake to prevent wasting it into saturated fats.

Fats are often misconstrued nowadays due to the rapid rise of obesity. There is of course such a thing as good fats aside from the generally bad ones. The ideal menu for good fats is that which contains Omega-3 fatty acids like fish oil, meat and eggs, with the latter two almost indivisible with proteins. Choosing bad fats is a huge bane due to its current excessive availability and addictive elements.

Examples of bad fats seem so generic these days with the surplus of processed and/or deep fried foods. Good fats are necessary to keep the body insulated and thus more immune to weather conditions.
